Wilson Performing Arts Center plans exciting events for October

The Wilson Performing Arts Center in Red Oak, Iowa is hosting several events in October, starting with a pair of psychics.

Executive Director for the Wilson Performing Arts Center, Kara Sherman, says on October 11th the psychics will heal the soul.

"We're having two of Omaha's most sought-after psychic mediums coming here- Angela Pennisi and Viktoria Santo.  They are going to be trying to have an uplifting evening connecting with departed loved ones through amazing validations and healing messages."

Sherman says the Backtrack Vocal A Capella group will perform on the 24th.

"A lot of what they do is a varied program of different kinds of music, some contemporary, some older, some newer, and a little bit of everything in between."

Sherman says the month will be capped off with comedian Anita Renfroe and an evening celebrating women's health.

"We're going to have appetizers, mocktails.  There will be exhibits by many of our local women's health professionals."
